EAMARE-STEAM project was presented at the IX Conference of Mathematics Teaching in Cantabria (IX Conferencia de Enseñanza de las Matemáticas en Cantabria). The ninth conference was held in Santander, from 14 to 15 February 2020, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Cantabria. It was organised by the SMPC (Sociedad Matemática de Profesores de Cantabria).
José M. Diego-Mantecón and Zaira Ortiz-Laso gave the talk: ‘Educación STEAM para abordar contenidos matemáticos’ on Saturday morning. They were accompanied by teachers and students from San José-Niño Jesús school. Students showed their STEAM activities to the audience. The audience were mainly Mathematics high school teachers, although there were also other STEAM fields high school teachers, primary and early childhood teachers, and researchers.
