Pedagogical Innovations in STEAM Education

EAMARE-STEAM project was presented at the Pedagogical Innovations in STEAM Education Conference. The conference took place in the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, Austria, on January, 16th-17 th, 2020. It was also live-streamed through YouTube. The aims of the conference were to develop and continue discussions on STEAM Education Research at this time focusing on innovations in pedagogies related to STEAM education and various technology developments. Researchers, phd students, teachers and educators, among others, joined the conference either presentially or virtually.

José M. Diego-Mantecón gave a 30-minute talk entitled: ‘OPEN STEAM Group: Working on the development of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning’. In particular, his talk included information about projects aiming to promote STEM education in high school students, examples of good practices in the Spanish context and barriers when implementing STEM education in high schools.
