VII European Researchers’ Night

Students from San José Niño Jesús School, IES Lope de Vega and Colegio Torreánaz participated in the VII European Researchers’ Night (ERN). The event took place in Santander on September 27, 2019 and attracted around 6000 people passing by Pombo square.

European Researchers’ Night is an European initiative associated to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, part of European Union’s research program Horizon 2020. ERN takes place annually since 2005 and is in its 7th year in Cantabria. In Cantabria, ERN was organised by the Unidad de Cultura Científica y de la Innovación (UCC+i) of Universidad de Cantabria.

Students presented their STEAM activities in the stand: ‘Ciencia de los más Jóvenes’. Activities were mostly developed under the framework of EAMARE-STEAM project, however one activity was designed as part of the MicroMundo project (Small World Initiative) leaded by IDIVAL (Instituto de Investigación Marqués de Valdecilla) in Cantabria.
